LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- High end knock off purses got an Orange County woman arrested. Craigslist postings would advertise the fake merchandise, and buyers would set up appointments to see the items. Consumers spend $900 to $1,000 for genuine version of the goods the accused woman allegedly sold for $80 to $100.
Police says that one of the luxury purse makers warned the woman to stop selling counterfeit goods. Her family tells KNX that she didn't know that what she was doing was illegal. KNX 1070's Orange County Bureau Chief Mike Landa is on the story.
