Pat Haslam first joined the KNX 1070 team as the overnight traffic anchor in 1998 and became a news anchor in September 2000.
From 1990 to 1998, Pat was the morning weather and traffic anchor better known as the irreverent Dr. Drive on the Orange County News Channel, a position that enabled Pat to use his distinct style and outrageous personality to keep Orange County up to date on the latest traffic and weather.
Pat was graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalismfrom California State University Fullerton, where he also pitched for the Titan baseball team. An avid sports fan, Pat still competes as a relief pitcher in the Mens Senior Baseball League. And from time to time, you'll hear Pat doing a sports report on KNX.
Pat also enjoys travel, theater and a good book, but he says his greatest joy is, and always will be, his twelve year old son, Anthony Michael. |
