Broadcasting has been a part of Kim Marriner's life for more than 35 years. Kim joined KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO in 2005.
Kim's career started at a 5,000-watt radio station in Denver, Colorado back in 1965. Along the way there were stops in Palm Springs, California, Tucson, Arizona and Seattle, Washington. As a general assignment news reporter and broadcast anchorman, Kim has been honored with a half dozen Emmy Awards, several Golden Mike trophies and countless plaques and certificates for journalistic excellence. During his career he has covered stories on several continents ranging from volcanic eruptions to disastrous earthquakes and from devastating wildfires to bloody riots. |
